Purpose:
The Magnify Youth Entrepreneurship Accelerator summer program is a project based learning initiative for students that teaches entrepreneurship to youth. Through this program students will learn about strategy, risk management, profits, losses, partnerships, marketing, community, budgeting and more. This is a hands-on experience where students get to develop a real business from concept to creation.
This initiative is composed of 2 projects:
pitch competition- students will pitch their business ideas to community stakeholders
economics fair- students will set up their products and sell to the public.
In addition, students will get a chance to take professional headshots and meet business owners from their community.
